The team was at the Living Systems Institute at the University of Exeter on 24th February 2026 to launch this innovative project during a day dedicated to cilia research.
For the first time, the six co‑investigators of the UNICIL project met in person, creating an opportunity to begin the technical planning of the research activities.
Twelve specialists from the UK, France, and Germany presented their work to an engaged and enthusiastic audience.
Across three themed sessions, the talks offered a comprehensive overview of the state of the art in cilia research, showcasing the field’s breadth and diversity.
